Great entry today on a home in Bristol, Rhode Island - located on 28 First School Street. The owner spent a great amount of time inputting the information about the house. Having this information is invaluable and is the reason I put this website together. My hope was to create a free forum where people could research their home's history or tell about the home they live in for the next person who might live in it or for the person who may have lived in it once before.
The website ThatsMyOldHouse.com is still in its infancy and I hope that some day it can grow in sophistication in regards to allowing people to upload more photos, exchange information on the site and do site searches. Until then, thank you everyone who has participated in this project.
Is the website now closed to new house additions? I tried to submit info. on my childhood home but it doesn't seem to have worked. I really like the concept. Not at all into ghost stories, but such a site could prove very useful to those of us doing house and neighborhood genealogies. Thanks!
